CHANGE YOUR WORLD FOR THE DAY

Get ready to change your world this June and July by getting rid of the car keys for the day.

Sustrans, the UK's leading sustainable transport charity, is encouraging people to swap one car journey between 30 June and 5 July in favour of walking, cycling or using public transport.

Statistics show that if we all took part in this, it would reduce car traffic by at least 10%.

From the 2 June onwards, you will be able to visit changeyourworld.org.uk and log your pledge. At the same time you'll also be able to enter into a draw to win some handy eco-friendly travel prizes.

Last year, the same movement got MP Tim Farron on his bike, cycling nine miles to his constituency office.

Pop the dates in your diary to make a difference.
